R49 - Numerals (3.09) Numerals -- Select a number and create a design based on that single number. The number could be random or significant to you. Treat the number like you would a letter from the alphabet. You might try a hand drawn letterform or a motif that could add to the texture of the design. Maybe 3-dimensional forms is something you might want to explore with wood, clay, or other material. Cut paper forms and collage is another idea. Selecting a specific theme might be fun as well: for example Western, Science Fiction, Sports, Broadway, Architecture, Nautical and more. Submitted by Trevor Botting.
