Round 38--Holiday Card--Group A (12.06)
My design is part photography and part typography. The angel is actually from a salt and pepper set and I don't know how old she is--it's my grandmother's. I placed some baby's breath in between some dead flowers which actually made for a nice little forest scene. It appears to be a whimsical tree flourishing in the forest. The snowflakes add to the holiday seasonal theme and are made from Bodoni ornaments. The font is Flyerfonts Malfunction and Sunday. I printed 34 cards on an Epson Stylus Photo R1800 and mounted them to a heavy card stock. This is the first time I will mail these in an envelope for added protection.

Very rarely do my dogs every lay still and sleep peacefully. The painting feel gave it an even greater sense of calm. To me this captured the feeling of a cozy calm winter night.

Since I just had a baby I decided that a New Year's baby theme would be the best thing to do. Huck was glad to participate. He says, "Baaaahhhhglemmm, ma,ma. Ibm dooo." Translation - "Happy New Years everyone!"
